Thanks a lot for participating in SS12 code for a cause and helping create softwares for disabled people. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed the event and would continue to contribute to the software projects.
Project:Possibility is leading an effort to connect students like you to the international open accessibility community. In future SS12's, we would like to give participants the ability to interact with this community through a website that will offer access to people, knowledge, technology and resources to help complete their task and make a difference.
Outside of SS12, this website will house an active community of software developers, persons with disabilities, educators, etc. that will discuss and develop open source projects like the ones you developed this weekend.
As an SS12 participant, your input is crucial. We hope you will take a few moments to answer the questions below.
Name:
Email:
1. How could an online open accessibility community have supported your team this past weekend? (Perhaps there were some challenges you faced, development questions, or questions for persons with disabilities that arose?)
2. What features, knowledge, opportunities, or incentives could this online community offer that would attract your attention and participation and make you want to keep coming back?
3. Outside SS12, how could this online community attract participation from people like you? (i.e. what features, information, people/communities, opportunities would this website make available ?)
4. What do you think is the best way to get feedback from and interact with actual users of your project (i.e. persons with disabilities)? How could this online community facilitate the process?
5. We are building a team that is responsible for developing the concept, design, and requirements for this online community. If you are interested in being on this team, or would like more information about this website, check this:
6. Are you planning to continue working on your project after SS12? Yes No Maybe
7. What would be the best way to support and motivate continued development of these software projects after SS12 concludes? (i.e. a hack-day, another round of the competition)
8. Please tell us about your SS12 experience along with any feedback you have for us.
Thank you!
